Photo Albums: How We Shared Precious Images Before The Days Of Facebook, Twitter & Instagram

We are lucky to have in our collection a fabulous old photo album of the Friedberger family, early residents of Shelby County. The album was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lefkovitz.

Heirloom albums possess a certain charm that is hard to duplicate today. Pictures seemed to mean more back then. Unlike today, when posting a photo can be done in a flash, these heirloom photographs reflect the time and care taken when posing for a family photo.

We hope you will enjoy a few of the images from the Friedberger album. It is on display in the Penhale room should you want to take a closer look.
